Access Permits

The biggest events in our city always come with changes to traffic organization and public transport. Some streets will be closed, and additional buses and trams will be running. All of this is to make it easier for residents to reach the event area and ensure a smooth return home.

Residents living on streets affected by traffic changes will be allowed to access their homes upon presenting an entry permit.

Permits will be available only between August 5–17 at the Permit Office located at ul. Jana z Kolna 6 (former Marine Station).

Permit issuing hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Access Permits

Permit Issuance Rules:

  1. Residents of the above-mentioned streets will receive one permit per residential unit. To obtain a permit, proof of residence must be presented at the Permit Office: an official document such as a paid utility bill with the property address or certificate of registration.
  2. Companies and institutions located on the above-mentioned streets will receive two permits per company.
  3. Companies with private parking spaces will receive permits equal to the number of parking spaces they own.
  4. A deposit is required for red zone permits issued to the following groups:
    event organizers, Sail Market exhibitors, companies operating in the restricted area, and contractors working with the organizers.
  5. The permit must be presented at the checkpoint each time the vehicle enters the event area and must be clearly displayed inside the vehicle, with the side containing the data facing up.
  6. A valid permit must include the following information: license plate number, contact number, and company name.
  7. The permit allows entry for one specific vehicle, as identified by the license plate number listed on the permit.
