Eska Music Tour and a Musical Journey During Żagle

Musical concerts right next to the sailing ships are must-see items on the agenda that attract crowds. On Friday evening, thanks to the Eska Music Tour, we will be able to embark on an intergenerational, cross-genre musical journey.

A Strong Opening: Voo Voo & The Maritime University of Technology Choir We will kick off the first evening of concerts on the main stage straight from a high C. Meeting on stage will be the Polish music legend, the band Voo Voo led by Wojciech Waglewski, and the nearly 100-person Choir of the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin, conducted by Professor Sylwia Fabiańczyk-Makuch.

For thirteen years, the Choir of the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin and its conductor have been the originators of the Wspólne Brzmienia (Common Sounds) project, which annually attracts crowds of fans and enjoys great acclaim from the audience. It is a unique initiative combining choral music with other musical styles and genres, presented as a colorful spectacle that breaks the classic stereotype of how a choir is perceived.

It was exactly as part of their original Wspólne Brzmienia project that the Maritime University of Technology Choir invited the band Voo Voo to jointly perform the Anawa 2020 material. The project premiered in Szczecin during the choir’s jubilee concert and was enthusiastically received by the audience. This year’s edition will be a reunion of the artists and a unique opportunity to present this material to a wider audience during the inauguration of Żagle 2026—one of the city’s most important cultural events.

The Voice of the Young Generation: Oskar Cyms Following such an opening, one of the most popular vocalists of the young generation, distinguished by a charismatic voice and numerous successes on the Polish music scene, will take the stage – Oskar Cyms. The vocalist is the winner of, among others, the “Twoja Twarz Brzmi Znajomo” (Your Face Sounds Familiar) program, the Amber Nightingale, and the Radio Zet and Polsat Summer Hit contest. For three years, he has been among the top most frequently played artists on Polish radio stations. His second album, “Szkic i Kontury” (Sketch and Contours), quickly achieved Gold Record status and confirmed his strong position in the music market, bringing more hit songs.

Polish Rock Legend: IRA During the Friday concert, we will also be able to hear the legend of Polish rock – the band IRA, which has been continuously present on the scene since the late 1980s. They have numerous hits to their credit, including “Nadzieja”, “Mój dom”, “Wiara”, and “Ona jest ze snu”, as well as performances at major music festivals and concerts alongside global stars such as Aerosmith and Def Leppard. Their characteristic sound, stage energy, and loyal fanbase have made them an icon of Polish rock for years.

The Grand Finale: Dawid Kwiatkowski Closing the evening with his concert, Dawid Kwiatkowski will come to Szczecin. Dawid is one of the most popular Polish vocalists, a songwriter, and a TV personality, with eight studio albums and numerous platinum and gold records to his name. A laureate of prestigious awards, including the MTV Europe Music Award, the Amber Nightingale, and a Telekamera, he has been conquering the charts for years with tracks such as “Proste”, “Bez Ciebie”, “Cafe de Paris”, “Taki jak Ty”, and his latest duet with Margaret, “Później Ci opowiem”. In October 2026, we can expect the artist’s next album, titled “Południe”.
