The second day of the sailing festival is ahead of us! Expect plenty of entertainment, sporting thrills, and unforgettable stage performances. Add to that cruises on the Oder and the chance to explore the decks of tall ships – Saturday at Żagle 2025 is not to be missed!
A Sporting Morning
Saturday kicks off actively. At 9:00 AM, the special Run under the Sails begins, part of the Bulwarove Running Series, under the motto “Burn calories with EcoGenerator. Drink Szczecin tap water.” The 5 km route will traditionally cover both banks of the Oder, starting at the WOŚP Square on Łasztownia. At the same time, crews of yachts will compete on Lake Dąbie for the Mayor of Szczecin’s Cup.
Cruises and Open Decks
From 11:00 AM, tall ship cruises – one of the festival’s highlights – will set off. Among the vessels sailing out are Santa Barbara Anna, Abel Tasman, Anny von Hamburg, and Baltic Beauty.
Although tickets sold out quickly, the maritime spirit is still within reach – captains invite everyone to tour their ships and listen to real sailors’ stories.
Family Attractions
Children can look forward to the Kids’ Zone near the Mickiewicz Monument, amusement parks on both sides of the Oder, an inflatable playground on Jana z Kolna Street, and the surprise-filled ZWiK Fun Fountain.
From 10:00 AM, Food Port and the Wielkopolskie Smaki Zone in Łasztownia will be open, as well as food trucks on Admiralska Street – perfect for culinary journeys under the sails.
On the Chrobry Embankment, the Artists’ Alley is waiting – full of handicrafts and original creations, a great place to find something unique.
Music and Parade
Saturday also brings the 8th Festival of Brass Bands. The parade will end with spectacular marching displays at Solidarność Square.
From 3:00 PM, the Szczecin Stage in Łasztownia will resound with folk ballads and shanties performed by The Vikings, North Cape, Ryczące Dwudziestki, and Swing Lovers.
The evening will close on a strong note – the main stage will host the Eska Music Tour with rap performances by Tede, Aleshen, Białas, and Grubson.
