Dar Szczecina

Dar Szczecina is the pride of Szczecin sailing and the flagship yacht representing the city on European waters. This classic wooden Antares-class yacht was built at the renowned Leonid Teliga Maritime Yacht Shipyard in Szczecin. Since raising her flag in 1969, she has remained at the heart of maritime education in our region.

The yacht is a regular and decorated participant in the prestigious The Tall Ships Races. She has achieved numerous sporting successes and won the highly valued Friendship Trophy, awarded for promoting friendship and international cooperation. In 2026, the vessel also took part in this legendary regatta series, competing against some of the best crews from around the world.

For generations of Szczecin residents, Dar Szczecina has been a place where passions were born and character was shaped. It is here that young people undergo their first professional training, learning that at sea, cooperation, solidarity and mutual respect matter most. In 2012, the yacht received the prestigious title of Ambassador of Szczecin, officially confirming her role in promoting the city in European ports.
