Hoist the Sails — Time to Compete for the Mayor’s Cup!

Registration is now open for the second edition of the Mayor of Szczecin’s Cup Regatta, which will take place as part of the Żagle 2025 event. Yachts up to 15 meters in length are eligible to participate.

The sailing festival Żagle 2025 is not just about beautiful vessels and attractions for the whole family — it’s also about competitive water sports! On Saturday, August 16, the second Mayor of Szczecin’s Cup Regatta will be held on Lake Dąbie (at the Sailing Center). Owners of yachts up to 15 meters in length, suitable for sailing on the regatta course, are welcome to join.

The regatta will be held in three classes:

• OPEN I
• OPEN II
• OPEN III

The competition will be a one-day event. After the races, participants will dock at North East Marina, where they can celebrate the conclusion of the regatta together. On Sunday, from the same location, they will set sail in a ceremonial parade of vessels.

Participation in the regatta is free of charge but requires prior registration by email to: by August 10, 2025 (inclusive). The registration email must include the following documents:

• third-party liability insurance,
• signed registration form,
• amateur PYA (Polish Yachting Association) license of the yacht’s skipper.
