Course for Szczecin – Sails 2025 on the horizon

For the long August weekend, we have an offer you simply can’t refuse: two banks of the Oder River and one shared sailing celebration – Sails 2025. It’s an event without which it’s hard to imagine summer in Szczecin. Sailing ships and a maritime atmosphere will once again take over the Szczecin boulevards – along with a wide array of attractions for the whole family. It will be full of sailing spirit, music, vibrant colors, and delicious flavors. We invite you to join the fun today!

Three days of unforgettable experiences await. The Chrobry Embankment and Lasztownia will be filled with tall ships, naval vessels, and smaller yachts, all charting a course for Szczecin. From Friday to Sunday, the ships will be displayed in their full glory. In total, dozens of vessels will throw open their decks to visitors and set sail along the Oder River.

Sailing ships will be one of the main attractions, but not the only one. Two music stages will be located on both sides of the Oder River, where top artists and well-known and popular shanty bands will perform. The main stage will be located on the square in Komandorska Street, while the shanty stage will be located in Lasztownia. The concerts will take place over three days and all will be available completely free of charge. There will also be musical sensations during the VIII Festival of Brass Bands for the Cup of the Mayor of Szczecin. Brass bands from all over Poland and abroad will present their skills in marches, drill demonstrations and concerts.

Animation zones, creative workshops, games and activities for the youngest – all this will be waiting in the Children’s Zone, which will traditionally appear in the park near the Adam Mickiewicz monument, and more. Also at Lasztownia there will be no shortage of attractions for children – Holiday Park with roller coasters, the largest mill wheel and trampolines is already preparing for the upcoming season. A number of attractions will also await visitors to the Municipal Summer Zone on Grodzka Island.

Traditionally, the rally of sailing ships will be accompanied by rallies of restaurants on wheels and culinary journeys, during which it will be possible to taste dishes inspired by the tastes and cultures of different regions, countries and continents. Delicacies will also be available at the food stands of the Fair under Sail. Exhibitors at the Fair will surprise us with original products, nautical souvenirs, handicrafts, ceramics and ecological products.
