Built in 1933 by A. Paulsen in Kappeln/Grauhöft as a single-masted, gaff-rigged sailboat, she was christened Gisela and equipped with a 3-cylinder, 50 hp bulbous engine. In 1940, she, along with her owner and crew, was drafted into the Navy and used for security duties around Calais, France.
After the war, she was adapted for fishing expeditions, with Maasholm as her home port. Since 2008, her home port has been Kröslin.
