The Fourth Final of The Tall Ships Races<\/h3>\n The world\u2019s largest sailing ships returned to\u00a0Szczecin. After seven years, Wa\u0142y Chrobrego and \u0141asztownia were once again filled with a\u00a0sea of masts from across the globe. The vessels, participating in\u00a0the regatta along the route Klaip\u0117da \u2013 Tallinn \u2013 Helsinki \u2013 Turku \u2013 Mariehamn \u2013 Szczecin, celebrated the end of the race in\u00a0the capital of West Pomerania. Nearly 65 ships from 15 countries moored at\u00a0Szczecin\u2019s quays. The Ecuadorian tall ship Guayas was hosted in\u00a0this part of Europe for the very first time. <\/div>\n

Sails 2021<\/h3>\n In\u00a02021, Szczecin was scheduled to\u00a0host the Tall Ships Races for the fourth time. However, due to\u00a0the pandemic, the event could not take place. As\u00a0a\u00a0result, a\u00a0new format was launched \u2013 Sails 2021. Held in\u00a0the summer holiday period, the event attracted tens of thousands of Szczecin residents and their guests. Alongside other ports, Szczecin organised the Baltic Regatta, with 19 vessels competing along the Klaip\u0117da \u2013 Tallinn \u2013 Szczecin route. Sails 2021 featured various activity zones for children and families, festivals, concerts, and social events. Both the right and left banks of the river were filled with permanent attractions and engaging experiences for all. <\/div>\n

Maritime Days 2018<\/h3>\n In\u00a0addition to\u00a0the opportunity to\u00a0enjoy beautiful tall ships and oldtimers, Days of the Sea offered a\u00a0wealth of concerts and side events for both children and adults. Each year, the vessels moored at\u00a0the Chrobry Embankment were accompanied by\u00a0music, sports events, and animation zones for the youngest guests. <\/div>\n

The Third Final of The Tall Ships Races<\/h3>\n In\u00a02017, Szczecin hosted another major celebration, welcoming approximately 7,000 sailors from 18 countries, including Oman, Brazil, Germany, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and the United Kingdom. After an intense regatta along the Halmstad \u2013 Kotka \u2013 Turku \u2013 Klaip\u0117da route, 91 ships arrived in\u00a0Szczecin. <\/div>\n

The Second Final of The Tall Ships Races<\/h3>\n After six years, the sailing ships returned to\u00a0Szczecin, and the regatta final repeated its success. In\u00a02013, the city was once again the most eagerly awaited final port for young sailors, after the race and friendly leg along the Aarhus \u2013 Helsinki \u2013 Riga \u2013 Szczecin route. More than 100 vessels arrived at\u00a0the Chrobry Embankment and \u0141asztownia. <\/div>\n

The First Final of The Tall Ships Races<\/h3>\n In\u00a02007, Szczecin hosted the Tall Ships Races final for the first time. Already renowned for its excellent maritime events such as\u00a0Maritime Days and the Oldtimers Rally, the city joined the prestigious list of TSR host ports. After years of preparation, Szczecin welcomed tall ships and their crews to\u00a0the final leg of the series, along the route Aarhus \u2013 Kotka \u2013 Stockholm \u2013 Szczecin. Ninety ships moored at\u00a0Wa\u0142y Chrobrego and \u0141asztownia, and nearly two million tourists and residents visited the city to\u00a0admire the majestic sailing ships. <\/div>\n
