All aboard for a fun-filled adventure!

Exactly three weeks separate us from the biggest sailing celebration in our region. The long August weekend promises to be full of activity – here is the event program!

From August 15 to 17, the quays will fill with tall ships arriving from various parts of Europe. Flags from Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Latvia, and of course Poland will be flying among our guests. In total, around 30 vessels are expected to moor along the Chrobry Embankment and in Łasztownia. All will open their decks to visitors, and some will embark on special cruises along the Oder River. It’s a perfect opportunity to see Szczecin from the water, soak up the maritime atmosphere, and take a break from everyday life.

Tickets for the cruises are available online in the “Cruises” section at https://zagleszczecin.eu/rejsy and onsite at the Visit Szczecin stand during the event.

Two shores, one bridge, hundreds of attractions

The Oder River will connect not only two parts of the city, but also people, thanks to a temporary pontoon bridge and a rich program of events. In Łasztownia, children will find plenty of fun in play and animation zones as well as creative workshops. Meanwhile, the Children’s Zone near the Adam Mickiewicz monument will offer a “young sailor training camp” with games and activities for the youngest. On both riverbanks, amusement parks full of carousels and thrill rides will be waiting.

Flavors of the world and local delicacies

Żagle is also a culinary journey. In the food truck zone and Food Port, you’ll find cuisines from around the globe: Indian, Mexican, Crimean Tatar, fish burgers, seafood, baked sandwiches, fries, ice cream, bao buns, grilled pork neck, and rustic bread with lard – just a taste of what’s in store during the festival.

At the “Market under the Sails,” vendors will offer regional delicacies, handicrafts, ceramics, nautical souvenirs, and eco-products – all unique and available exclusively at our stalls.

Craft beverage lovers should visit the Craft Beer Zone – where a wide selection of beers (including non-alcoholic), brewing shows, tastings, and meetings with brewers await.

Sounds that carry across the water

Music is an integral part of Żagle. In 2025, two music stages will entertain guests on both sides of the Oder, starting already on Thursday.

The main stage on Komandorska Street will host a double anniversary concert by Piotr Banach, joined by special guests including Renata Przemyk, Wojciech Waglewski, and Kamil Bednarek. Saturday will be filled with Polish rap and hip-hop, while Sunday will be dedicated to rock legends: T.Love, De Mono, and Happysad.

In Łasztownia, before the sounds of sea shanties, folk, and sung poetry, the duo Catz’n Dogz will warm up the Szczecin audience with an electrifying concert. During the festival, the stage will feature Stan Nieustalony, Dianna & Co., Fluid, Eva Sand, Jackpot Trio, Baltic Neopolis Quartet & Armand Fessard, and sailing bands such as Stare Dzwony, Ryczące Dwudziestki, Kapitan Grog, and Sąsiedzi.

A festival of color and sound

Żagle wouldn’t be complete without brass bands. As part of the 8th Brass Band Festival for the Mayor of Szczecin’s Cup, Polish and international ensembles will perform on stage and in street parades. Marching shows and open-air concerts will add a special flair to the event.
