Friday – Playing the Szczecin Way

Songs by Kora Jackowska, a guest appearance by Michał Janicki, and the radio chart hits of Maciek Silski will resound on the Szczecin Stage during Żagle.

Good news for fans of our local bands! On Friday, the Szczecin/Sea Shanty Stage will be taken over by musicians from Szczecin. You’ll find the stage in Łasztownia, near the Food Port. Music will flow from early afternoon until late at night. Artists will present not only their own songs but also unique arrangements of well-known and beloved hits, including those by Kora.

Performers:

STAN NIEUSTALONY – A Szczecin-based band creating original rock songs inspired by the sound of Polish classics from the 1980s. Their music is an energetic mix of nostalgia and a modern breeze. Each song is a unique story told through sounds that connect generations, with lyrics reflecting observations of the modern world.

ARMAND FESSARD & BALTIC NEOPOLIS QUARTET – with special guest MICHAŁ JANICKI – The musicians will perform: Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet in A major, parts 1 & 2; G. Bizet’s Carmen excerpt for clarinet and string quintet; Béla Kovács’s Sholem-Alekhem, rov Feidman!

DIANNA & CO. – MUSIC WITHOUT A FILTER – Szczecin musicians who play lyrically at times, danceable at others, but always authentically. Sometimes in a whisper, sometimes with a bang, always with heart. A blend of music genres, unafraid of loud moments – simply good music and irresistible energy.

EVA SAND – ORIGINAL SZCZECIN – A special project by vocalist and songwriter Eva Sand, aiming to foster cooperation, growth, and promotion of Szczecin’s artists. The first concert in the series will feature Eva Sand, Kasia Buję Kazuba, and Olek Różanek, performing their own songs with a full band.

JACKPOT TRIO – Kasia and Maciej Kazub are a married couple of musicians and educators with a deep sensitivity to the world around them. Their songs – and the upcoming album Histories of Light Weight – are born from shared experiences and observations. Their recital is a sentimental yet humorous journey into a world where words take center stage.

FLUID – A group of musicians who have previously performed at Woodstock and in the well-known Polish blues band Jaw Raw.

ADRIANNA SZYMAŃSKA – “Blue Bodies Frenzy” – Songs by Kora Jackowska performed by Adrianna Szymańska, including Tęcza, Ta noc do innych jest niepodobna, Nocny patrol, Lipstick on the Glass, Ocean wolnego czasu, Szare miraże, Kocham cię, kochanie moje, Buenos Aires, Szał niebieskich ciał, Krakowski Spleen, and Cykady na Cykladach.

MACIEJ SILSKI & TEGES NARA BAND – The group plays mostly original compositions, but also well-known hits by Maciek Silski, winner of Idol, which topped radio charts. They will also present brand-new songs, some co-written with the band, including premieres. Their career includes numerous albums, performances, and awards at music festivals.

In the following days of Żagle, the Szczecin/Sea Shanty Stage will host shanty and folk bands. The stage will be located near the Food Port. Detailed schedules and artist line-ups are available in the PROGRAM >>>
