Flashing lights, music floating through the air, children’s laughter, and shouts of excitement – it can only mean one thing: the funfairs have returned to the city! During Żagle, mini amusement parks will appear on both sides of the Oder, offering thrills for the whole family.
The Holiday Park in Łasztownia has been attracting visitors since the very start of the summer with a wide range of attractions. On site you’ll find carousels, trampolines, rollercoasters, and many other rides that spark childlike joy – even in the oldest visitors. The offer is rich and planned so that everyone finds something for themselves. The biggest – quite literally – highlight of the park is the Wheel of Szczecin, a Ferris wheel towering 60 metres high, offering a stunning panorama of the city and the entire event. Fans of extreme experiences can also take a plunge from a nearly 80-metre-high bungee platform, which will be located near the Craft Beer Zone.
On the other side of the river, the well-known Czech Lunapark will make its return. Here too, there will be plenty of attractions for both children and adults. A giant slingshot ball shooting into the air, mini rollercoasters, a small carousel, bumper cars, and a Ferris wheel are just some of the rides set up on the lawn by Admiralska Street – some of them more thrilling than they might look at first glance.
Nearby, along Jana z Kolna Street, there will be a zone with inflatable castles, slides, and trampolines where children can jump to their heart’s content and have endless fun. Two funfairs, countless attractions, and joy lasting late into the night – that’s exactly what this part of the sailing festival promises.
