One of the most important Polish electronic music projects – Catz ‘n Dogz – will heat up the audience before Żagle. The concert will take place on Thursday at the Szczecin Stage on Łasztownia.
COURSE TO SZCZECIN – CATZ ‘N DOGZ: Warm-up before Żagle 2025! – under this slogan, the duo formed by Grzegorz Demiańczuk and Wojtek Tarańczuk will bring the Szczecin audience into the festival spirit of Żagle. For years, Catz’n Dogz have been electrifying house music fans around the world, and now they will also play for us.
They are not only a hallmark of the Polish club scene, but also an undisputed export success – their sets regularly resonate in the best clubs around the globe, and their successive releases are featured in the catalogs of the world’s top labels. They have collaborated with labels such as Mothership, Dirtybird, and the iconic British Defected Records. Their discography includes five albums, among them the breakthrough “Basic Colour Theory” featuring Green Velvet and Natalia Przybysz, and “Friendship” – released on their own label Pets Recordings, with guest appearances by Rosalie. and Taco Hemingway.
The duo is also known for their remixes for legends: from Fatboy Slim, through Disclosure, to Roisin Murphy. During the pandemic, they did not slow down – they recorded the moving album “Moments,” a musical journey through the emotions and reflections of the isolation period.
Over their 15 years on the scene, Catz ‘n Dogz have appeared on the covers of Mixmag and DJ Mag Spain, earned distinctions in the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJs, and have been repeatedly awarded by Polish media, including in the Munoludy poll. In Poland, they perform on the most important club stages – including as residents of Warsaw’s Smolna.
Their activity is not only about music, but also supporting the local scene – through Pets Recordings and the STEP sub-label they promote Polish producers such as Pol_On, SLG, and Viadrina.
